![]() Just get money and then execute everyone. It's not bad, but not good either.ħa) Shiso Execute: The executioner. The regen is too small, weapon costs too much, but at least is sorta spammy. Use your weapon to break all the tiles to get massive energy regen while locking enemies into place, then spam your spells as they have nowhere left to run.Ħb) Terra Pyro: I really wish there was a good pyro character, and this ain't it. ![]() Used by some speed runners, so you know the damage output is no joke.ĥa) Hazel Build: fun builder, not super practical but okay.ĥb) Hazel Teardown: IMO the worse of the 2, you're not meant to build but do other weird things and it's not that great.Ħa) Terra Break: IMO a misunderstood character, and one of my personal favourites. From the start you can either play safe projectiles or dangerously with zenith.Ĥb) Selicy Invade: Super fun invader build, get up into people's faces and blow people up for massive damage. Others can't really regen mana with timestop, but that's not manafire!ģb) Gunner Bullethell: Did you want a challenge? If not, this character is probably not for you.Ĥa) Selicy Snow: Nice ice build. Really fun but really wants to get timestop so they can do whatever they want at their own pace. Hard to use, kinda okay.ģa) Gunner Manafire: Get timestop/slows and keep shooting the enemies and throwing out spells. Very fun "high risk high reward" shield play with shield throw.Ģb) Reva Beat: Gotta learn to parry, and you can cheese early shopkeepers with Soul Link so that she kills herself. A decent jack-of-all card types build due to time stop, while cards are okay.ġc) Solo Saffron: I can't aim, so I can't play solo Saffron lolĢa) Reva Shield: Also good for learning, as the shields allow you to soak damage. The revive is good for beginners to learn.ġb) Saffron Chrono: the better teacher, in that instead of relying on dying and reviving, you can slow down time and learn enemy patterns. Especially on genocide runs where enemies quickly get armor, her weapon is useless and her cards don't have strong synergies. ![]() Here's my take on all the characters and their loadouts:ġa) Saffron Default: a very weak character. I have yet to see a tier list that I fully agree with (or at least 50% for that matter), and I've completed all of the steam achievements. My reflexes are not the best, so I build to compensate for that weakness.Īlso you are unlikely to find a universal tier list because a lot of people disagree on what are good and bad cards, that's what makes this game fricken great: it's (mostly) balanced in such a way that it really depends on your playstyle. The less time you think, the more time you can do everything else. I'll break down what my opinion on each character is later.Īs for how to build my deck, I build around the idea that I want to face the enemy, press all my buttons to throw out all my spells, then go back to focusing on dodging. Once you loop enough it doesn't really matter which character you are (for most builds), but getting there is the hard part. Secondly, strong builds depends on the character (their starting cards and what weapon they have). You only need to kill the shopkeeper if you plan on getting a genocide ending.įirst tip, it might be easier to loop once around before killing the shopkeeper. ![]() ![]() To loop, you don't need to kill the shopkeeper. ![]()
